Job description
Methodist Healthcare in San Antonio seeks a Nurse Manager of Surgery to lead perioperative services across a busy surgical department. This role oversees OR nursing staff, workflow, and patient care quality for diverse surgical specialties. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while driving best practices in safety, infection prevention, and patient experience. The Nurse Manager collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams, mentors and evaluates nurses, and supports evidence-based practice in a mission-driven, patient-focused, and highly collaborative environment.
