Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience is required.
Unit Details: Total-care nursing. Patient population includes surgical services—colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic—and medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney and gastrointestinal conditions. There is no dedicated telemetry assignment; remote telemetry monitoring is used, and nurses perform only occasional strip reading. No vents, CPAP, BiPAP, or high-flow respiratory equipment are used in Med/Surg; respiratory is readily available to assist, and nasal cannula is used on the floors. Transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No holiday requirement. No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Float between Med/Onc, two surgical units, and two medical units. Float to any Med/Surg pod.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
