Job description

Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Patient ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Patient population includes surgical patients (total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery) and medical patients (CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues). RNs are not required to titrate drips. The unit uses telemetry; monitor technicians read strips and RNs confirm them. Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. On-call/standby is required, with LCD.
Floating Requirements: The clinician is first to float.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
