Job description
Medical / Surgical Nurse
We seek an experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's Medical/Surgical team at our hospital in southern California. As a team member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Located in sunny and vibrant Southern California, our client's hospital is nestled in a thriving community with access to world-class beaches, renowned theme parks, and diverse cultural and recreational activities.
As a Registered Nurse on our client's Medical/Surgical team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You will work closely with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and educate and support patients and their families.

Necessary Special Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a current, valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
Must have a current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification by first day of employment
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNO) certification
Depending upon area of assignment, additional specialty experience and/or certification(s) may be required.
Additional Requirements:
Requires two (2) years of full-time professional registered nursing experience including two (2) years of full-time experience in assigned hospital specialty area.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Nursing, education, or another related field
Experience presenting educational programs
Advance computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Power Point, Excel)
BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS instructor certification
