Job description
TriStar Health is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse Director to lead operations for a busy Med-Surg unit. This role oversees clinical quality, patient safety, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while fostering a patient-first culture. The Director coaches nurse leaders and staff, drives evidence-based practice, and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes, throughput, and patient experience. Responsibilities include performance improvement, policy development, staff recruitment and retention, and mentoring for professional growth within our regional HCA Healthcare network.
