Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is required. Required skills include: administration of chemotherapy; accessing/managing ports; administration of blood and blood products; central line blood draw; central line/implanted line care; PICC line care; starting and maintaining IVs; antibiotics; antiemetics; Foley catheter insertion/management; isolation precautions; telemetry interpretation; and telemetry monitoring. Med-Surg experience is required. TN do not administer chemotherapy unless certified.
Required Credentials: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Parking for orientation at Laclede Garage costs $15; Barnes does not validate or reimburse the charge.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. BMT oncology patients include those with leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, with management of complications from blood cancers such as GVHD. Auto stem cell transplants and chemotherapy administration are performed on the unit.
Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
Floating Requirements: Float throughout the Oncology department as needed to the unit with the greatest need per shift; the assignment will not always be specifically on the 9800 unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
