Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Med/Surg experience required; hematology/oncology experience preferred but not required. - MS/Tele; telemetry; interpretation of dysrhythmias; on-unit telemetry monitoring; use of rapid response teams; feeding tube care and management; IV therapy/phlebotomy; blood product administration; central line blood draw; peripheral line care/management; PICC line management; starting IVs.
Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Cares for patients with lymphoma, multiple myeloma, acute leukemias, chronic leukemias, sickle cell disease, non-heme cancers, and benign hematology conditions. - Unit details include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, oncologic emergencies including tumor lysis syndrome and cytokine release syndrome, insulin drips, and heparin drips.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends vary based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements: - Floating to other Med/Surg and oncology units.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
