Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is required. - First-time travelers are accepted; teaching hospital experience is required for a first travel assignment. - Candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.
Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Specialty care is tailored to diagnoses and procedures related to the abdomen or pelvic area, including gynecologic oncology, urology oncology, colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and stomach cases. Educational resources support knowledge gaps and procedure-specific precautions for each procedure. - The unit primarily cares for patients with known cancer diagnoses recovering post-operatively from surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications. Nursing care supports specific post-operative milestones for discharge. - Chemotherapy or biotherapy is not administered on this unit. - Nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs, with additional support provided.
Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating shifts include Night (19:00-7:00) and Day (7:00-19:00). - Various days of the week. - Weekend coverage is required per unit needs. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Floating is required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units, and may include sister facilities based on facility needs.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0
