Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is required. Must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.
Special Requests: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. Surgical oncology unit focused on abdomen and pelvic diagnoses and procedures, including gynecologic oncology, urology oncology, colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and stomach cases. Primarily cares for patients with known cancer diagnoses recovering post-operatively from surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications, with care focused on achieving specific post-op milestones for discharge. No chemotherapy or biotherapy is administered on this unit. 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs; additional support is provided.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts on various days of the week: 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30. Weekend requirement: per unit needs. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floating as required within scope to meet facility needs and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0
