Job description

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Special Requests: If declining flu vaccination, must complete the facility-specific form. RTO must be included at time of submission. Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed.
Unit Details: The unit serves oncology, hematology, nephrology, endocrine, GI, dermatology and general medicine patients. Common diagnoses include CA diagnosis, oncology, hematology, ESRD, diabetes, GI, abdominal pain, dermatology and general medicine. Specialty equipment includes IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes and specialty beds (sand beds). Patient population is adults ages 18 and older.
Shift & Scheduling: No call.
14 days maximum time off
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• ONS (Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider)
