Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience
Hematology and bone marrow transplant experience would be a bonus.
Special Requests
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Must note in the submission if you have ever worked for Sanford Health. If you previously worked with Sanford, you must have an end date 6 months prior to your submission date.
Unit Details
The unit cares for medically complex hematology/oncology patients requiring blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side-effect management. Nurses perform head-to-toe assessments, administer medications, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, and update patients and families. If trained to administer chemotherapy, nurses could be assigned accordingly. Equipment includes Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, Language Line, and a Zebra phone. Patient ratios are 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant, 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients, and 1:4-6 on nights. Nurses will not work alone.
Shift & Scheduling
Day/night rotation. Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call required.
Floating Requirements
Will float to other med-surg units at Broadway, with potential to float to other Fargo med-surg units at Med Center or South.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
