Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The unit cares for medical-surgical and orthopedic surgery patients, including total joint replacements, TIA, and stroke workups. Common drips include Lasix and heparin. Devices and lines used include wound vacs, JP drains, colostomies, nephrostomy tubes, NG tubes, rectal tubes, suprapubic catheters, G-tubes, J-tubes, and central lines. Oxygen modalities include nasal cannula, high-flow cannula, BiPAP at night only, non-rebreather, Venturi mask, and face mask with oral surgeries; capnography is used with PCAs.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
