Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Ortho experience preferred.
Unit Details: Patient ratios are 5:1 (6:1 stretch) on day shift and 6:1 (7:1 stretch) on night shift. Typical procedures include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter care, NG tube care, and wound vac maintenance and removal. Equipment includes walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, CPM, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machines, hover mats, Bair Huggers, and wheelchairs.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Floats to other Med-Surg units.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
