Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove them will lead to termination of contract. Blocked scheduling will not be approved unless it is weekends only; a weekend-only request can be made. Travel pairs are not accepted if they request the same schedule or share a car. RTO requests must be submitted upfront; 7 or fewer days may be requested per 13-week contract, and additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Unit Details: 24/7 phlebotomy is available. Common cases include total knee, total hip, ankle, and total shoulder replacements, as well as back and neck spine cases. Common titratable and/or set-rate drips include pain medications, antibiotics, and blood. Tele boxes are used; tele techs read and interpret them.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift times include and . Self-scheduling is available with cyclic rotation. Every other weekend is required. Holiday coverage rotates with permanent staff. If placed on call and called back in, must arrive within 30 minutes.
Floating Requirements: The assignment includes floating to Med-Surg, rehab, or PCU units taking Med-Surg acuity.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
