Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Trauma experience required.
Unit Details: Postoperative cases are common. Patient population includes adults with trauma, orthopedic, urologic, colorectal, and surgical needs.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 per week; 48 hours per week may be accommodated. Weekend schedule varies; 4 weekend shifts are required in a 4-week schedule, with at least 2 of the 4 weekends expected to be scheduled. No call.
Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to a unit with a comparable patient population if needed. The robust float team makes it unlikely that agency staff will float off the unit, but the expectation is that they will float if needed.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
