Job description

Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
- 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
- Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.
- Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
- Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Medical-surgical, orthopedic experience is a bonus. Would like at least 2 years of experience if possible.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If the clinician previously worked with Sanford Health, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
Unit Details: Patients include orthopedic and joint-replacement, trauma, and general medical-surgical populations. Responsibilities include administering medications, assessing and monitoring patients, preparing patients for surgical procedures, administering blood products, providing education, and working with CNAs to provide needed care. Care uses a team-based approach; the clinician will not work alone.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floats to med-surg.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
