Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: Neuro medical/surgical unit. Procedures include stroke NIH, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care. Equipment and technology include Welch Allyn vital sign equipment, COWs, a Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per schedule.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
