Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
There is no shift differential for AM/PM.
Required Skills/Experience: Acute med/surg experience 1+ years within the last year. Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years experience working with neuro patients—CVAs, TIAs, AMS. Would prefer RNs with neuro, neurosurgery, or ortho backgrounds; Med/Surg/Telemetry background would suffice.
Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details: Unit procedures include IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, continuous bladder irrigation, and NGT insertion and maintenance.
Floating Requirements: Floats to med/surg units.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
