Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: Parking permits: WB and CXS require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits; WMC parking is available monthly. WMC parking: $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days for 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage. WB parking: $196.20/year; 9th Avenue East/West Garages are available on weekends and holidays, and West Campus WB/WC lots are available 24/7 with shuttle service. CXS parking: $393.96/year; 9th Avenue East/West Garages are available on weekends and holidays, and Buckeye CX and West Campus lots are available 24/7.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Floating to different units within the OSU organization is required as needed.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
