Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: IV insertion.
Special Requests: Weekend block scheduling may be accommodated.
Unit Details: Omnicell for medication dispensing. Serves all ages.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be considered. Every other weekend/as needed. On-call as needed.
Floating Requirements: As needed; possibility to float to similar med/surg units.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
