Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Required clinical skills include IV starts and telemetry. Tracheostomy care, including suctioning, general trach care, and changing the inner cannula, is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Parking permits cost $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days for the WMC monthly permit, $196.20/year for the WB annual permit, and $393.96/year for the CXS annual permit. WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits; the WMC permit is available monthly. WB parking in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3 is approximately 1.7 miles from the medical center, and the Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes.
Unit Details: The unit serves a mixed-acuity PCU and medical-surgical patient population. The unit cares for adults and geriatric patients with head and neck cancers, neuro-oncology, and brain tumors. Drain management includes JP drains and Hemovacs. The unit has a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and preventing patient falls.
Shift & Scheduling: If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Floating Requirements: Required to float to other Med-Surg Oncology units at an equivalent or lower level of acuity.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
