Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to manage all cardiac drips. Able to operate an EKG machine.
Special Requests: Assignment length may vary: 13-26 weeks; 26 weeks is preferred, and 13 weeks is available by request. Block schedules may be accommodated whenever possible based on unit needs and are never guaranteed. Up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; anything more is subject to approval by the leader before confirming the candidate, and the additional time off would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment.
Unit Details: Patient population includes all age groups. The unit cares for patients with acute-onset AFib and CHF exacerbations, as well as postoperative vascular, cardiac, heart, and valve surgery patients. Patient ratios are estimates and not guarantees. Equipment includes chest tubes, drains, and other cardiac devices.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week at the candidate's request. Every other full weekend is the standard expectation; Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved by the leader before confirmation. Candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. No call. Night shift orients on day shift. Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.
Floating Requirements: Must be able to float throughout Med Surg if needed. Ratios are 5-6:1.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
10 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
