Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 2 years of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in one location. Neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency required. Must be able to read tele strips.
Unit Details: Phippen 6/7 is an orthopedic/neuro medical-surgical unit admitting all other medical overflows. Patient population includes scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fractures, neuro patients, and all other medical patients’ overflow. Clinician-to-patient ratios: Day and Eve shifts are 1:4, may go up to 5. Night shift is 1:5 or 6.
Shift & Scheduling: This role is a rotating shift. Nights and EOW. Day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency: low.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
