Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is required.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Fast-paced general internal medicine teaching unit within an academic medical center. - Cares for patients with complex medical diagnoses, including general internal medicine, geriatrics, and Special Pathogens patients.
Shift & Scheduling: - Day/night shift options: or . - Every other weekend rotation. - Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: - Floating to like units.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
