Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips. Competency in at least amiodarone and diltiazem drips is required.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Two supervisor references are required: one from within the past 12 months and one from within the past 3 years. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Holiday time off will be considered but is not guaranteed; unit managers make the final scheduling decision. Block scheduling is generally not available.
Unit Details: Patients include general medical-surgical, postoperative general, and postoperative orthopedic cases. The unit does not care for ventilated patients. Hospitalist or intensivist coverage is in-house; respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7, and there is no IV team. The unit is very fast-paced.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s). Self-scheduling is used, but schedules are not finalized until the manager balances them. Schedules are posted 4 weeks in advance. Extra shifts are available, and travelers can access their schedules from home, make themselves available for extra shifts, and trade with other staff.
Floating Requirements: The clinician will be first to float to Tele.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
