Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Special Requests: A full 6-month separation is required from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If you have ever worked for Marshfield, you must disclose it in your submission. If you previously worked for Marshfield, your end date must be 6 months before your submission date. No self-scheduling; block scheduling is provided to the best of our ability, dependent on staffing.
Unit Details: Nurse-to-patient ratios: : 1:4-5; : 1:5-6. Post-surgical patients include orthopedics, urology, GYN/ONC, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, ENT, plastics, and GI cases. Acute medical patients may also be admitted with a short anticipated length of stay. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable and/or set-rate drips include heparin; nitro, Cardizem, and insulin are used occasionally. Telemetry strips are run and monitored by remote technicians; the telemetry system is GE. Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy; no ventilators. Respiratory therapy support is present.
Shift & Scheduling: RN shifts: , , or . Every other holiday and weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float required to other adult medical/surgical nursing units.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
