Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: PCU-trained candidates are preferred.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6. Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, COVID, infectious disease, pre- and post-operative, endocrine, and CVA patients. Unit may function as PCU or Med/Surg/Tele.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: May be floated to the corresponding sister units: West 2, West 3, and Observation unit.
Maximum consecutive days off: 10
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
