Job description

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele. - 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele preferred.
Special Requests: - Must take 12 months off from any University of Rochester Medical Center affiliate. - Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.
Unit Details: - West 4 is an Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit.
Shift & Scheduling: - 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation. - Flexible contract hours: 36 and 48 hours per week available. - 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. - Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. - Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility’s schedule.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
