Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma experience preferred. Telemetry experience preferred.
Unit Details: This is a trauma telemetry unit providing medical-surgical and telemetry care. Specialized care includes complex wound management, blood product administration, pain management, management of NG, PEG, feeding tubes and surgical drains, and chest tube care. Equipment includes bedside telemetry monitors, a vein finder, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Doppler, Hoyer lift, glucometer, pulse oximeter, scales and a wound vac.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floating areas include Med Surg and telemetry, if certified.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
