Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS and EHAC within the last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Medical-surgical unit specializing in neurological and stroke-related conditions, including acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, transient ischemic attacks (TIA), seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses, plus select medical and surgical patients. Priority admission for patients requiring medical-surgical level monitoring, interventions, and specialized neurological care. Continuous telemetry and pulse oximetry monitoring. Focus on neurological assessment, stroke recovery, secondary stroke prevention, and optimizing functional outcomes.
Shift & Scheduling: Half of contract weekends required.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
