Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: IV competency required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.
Unit Details: Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, and PCA pumps. Patient population includes adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients. Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end-of-life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, and infection.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float as needed to Surgical, Neuro, and Intermediate units; will take Med-Surg-level patients.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
