Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Paragon is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - PICC/CVC management. - Wound care.
Unit Details: - Adult patients ages 18+; most are 65+. - This med-surg unit provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. - No surgeries are performed in the building. - Strong PT/OT/Speech and RT presence, with 24-hour provider coverage and 24-hour CT, X-ray, and lab availability.
Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend rotation. If traveler needs weekend shifts, it can be accommodated. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
