Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience preferred. - Charge experience preferred.
Special Requests: - RTO is limited.
Unit Details: - Medical-Surgical Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU). - Travelers are required to serve as charge RN in this unit; training provided. - Teaching hospital with frequent interaction with students and new hires.
Shift & Scheduling: - Must be flexible to work the schedule needs of the unit. - 2/3 weekends per month based on unit need. - Traveler must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day). - Assignments end on Saturday.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
