Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
Experience with Meditech is preferred.
12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
This role will require floating to multiple locations
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living
COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:1-2 years of experience required.
Unit Details:
The assignment is on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.Common diagnoses and treatments include postoperative orthopedic procedures and total joint procedures.The unit serves patients of all ages.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend coverage is every other weekend/as needed.Call is as needed.Must be flexible in scheduling and able to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
HWC (Handle With Care)
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
