Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: Patient ratio is up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. Patient population includes all ages. Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD, post-op joints, and a diabetic population.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage is every other weekend/as needed. On-call coverage is as needed.
Floating Requirements: May float to like units as needed.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certifications HWC, MAB
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
