Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >70 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include colon surgery, Whipple surgery, cholecystectomy, liver resections, bariatric surgery, GYN surgery, mastectomy, hernia surgery, colitis, pancreatitis, abdominal pain, gastroparesis, bowel obstruction, and Crohn’s disease.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend coverage is required.
Floating Requirements: Ability to float to similar units to care for Med/Surg patients may be required.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
