Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you're applying to.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit. If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift. Block scheduling may be accommodated as long as it does not have to be the same days every week.
Unit Details: Uses Mindray Telemetry System. General Med-Surg unit; very busy with quick turnover, able to discharge patients and accept admissions.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be accommodated. Maximum RTO approved: 1 week. No call.
Floating Requirements: Required to float as needed, but rarely; may occasionally float to ICU to take Med-Surg overflow or step-down patients. General Med-Surg unit with some postoperative orthopedic and general surgery patients; may float to ICU and take a step-down assignment.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
