Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 9 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Behavioral health experience preferred.
Heparin drips preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details
Secured unit serving at-risk behavioral patients.
Adult patient population includes alcohol/drug withdrawal, delirium, overdose, and altered mental status.
Safety features include whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance.
Patient ratios are 4-5 on days, 5-6 on nights, and 4-6 on weekends.
Shift & Scheduling
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 hours/week may be discussed during interview.
Every other weekend.
Rotating shifts and work during inclement weather will be required.
Call is required.
You must work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.
Floating Requirements
Floating to other med-surg units is required.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years
Proof of identification required

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
