Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 9 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of Med-Surg experience preferred; willing to consider 1.5 years for quality candidates. Heparin drips preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: RTO is not granted for holidays, but travelers may choose which holidays they want to work to meet the 50% holiday requirement.
Unit Details: Adult internal medicine floor-status patient population including diabetes complications, COPD exacerbation, ETOH/drug withdrawal, renal failure, and cellulitis. Some rooms have video monitoring and sitter coverage; bariatric rooms and ceiling lifts are available. Charge nurse and supervisor on every shift. Average ratios are 1:5 for days and 1:6 for nights; day shift may go up to 6 and night shift to 7.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required. Assigned weekends required. Work 50% of holidays that fall within the contract.
Floating Requirements: Float to MS and MS/Tele.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
