Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Michigan license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred.
Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate required.
Unit Details: General nursing care for primarily geriatric patients (CHF, COPD, diabetes, etc.). Uses CareScape patient monitors and Pyxis. Patient ratios 1:4-1:5 days and 1:6 nights.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday. Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours.
Floating Requirements: Float to ED within competency required.
9 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
