Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• ADN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: The clinician must be able to read telemetry strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience: ED or ICU experience is very helpful.
Unit Details: Med-Surg and ICU are a shared unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4-5 on days/evenings and 1:6-7 on evenings/nights.
Shift & Scheduling: Shifts are primarily PM or night shifts. The schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday. Travelers may be placed on call during low-census hours. If the clinician is called back to the facility, the call-back minimum is 2 hours.
Floating Requirements: The clinician may occasionally float to other departments to help out without taking a patient load, completing tasks such as vital checks. The clinician may float to other Aspirus locations, including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade.
9 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
