Job description

Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Unit Details: - Common diagnoses include NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, sepsis, and AKI. - PCTs have a 1:8 patient ratio. - Respiratory therapy equipment is limited to home units; heated high flow is the highest level available in the hospital. - The unit has telemetry; monitor technicians read the strips, and RNs sign off on strips throughout the shift.
Shift & Scheduling: - Night shift runs 7P-7A. - Typically every other weekend. - Typically every other holiday. - No call.
Floating Requirements: - Floating to ICU, ER, or BHC is based on the clinician’s level of experience; otherwise, floating out of Med Surg is not required.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
