Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Unit Details: - Nurse-to-patient ratios are 4-5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights; surgical staffing may reach 1:6 on days and 1:7 on nights. - General medical patients with various diagnoses. - RNs titrate heparin drips. - Patients may require up to 6 L oxygen by nasal cannula, with stable BiPAP/CPAP at night or as needed. - Patients requiring telemetry are monitored remotely by the hospital-wide telemetry department; unit equipment is primarily Philips. - RNs are expected to attempt IV starts and use unit resources if unsuccessful; the inpatient phlebotomy team handles blood draws. - Hospitalists/intensivists and respiratory therapy are in-house 24/7; pharmacy is available 24/7 and prepares all medications.
Shift & Scheduling: - RNs work every other weekend; day shifts are Saturday/Sunday and night shifts are Friday/Saturday. - Holiday rotation is per policy. - No call is required.
Floating Requirements: - Travel RNs are first to float to other units as needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver's license required for submission
