Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Must have charge experience or be willing to learn and take on charge duties.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Neuro and stroke experience highly preferred.
Special Requests: - Block requests are considered, but never guaranteed. - Requested time off: up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; anything more is subject to approval prior to confirmation and must be made up at the end of the assignment.
Unit Details: - Medical and surgical neuro patients including Parkinson’s, stroke, and lumbar cases. No trauma. - Uses customary equipment, including IV pumps.
Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate. - Every other full weekend required; Saturday and Sunday will be required unless otherwise approved prior to confirmation. - Candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major summer holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) or winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).
Floating Requirements: - Customary floating to Med Surg and Progressive.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
