With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care offers comprehensive services in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.
Job Responsibilities
Perform moderate/high complexity clinical testing in the laboratory.
Receive, accession, and evaluate specimens for acceptability.
Maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control and troubleshooting.
Analyze proficiency testing samples and interpret data, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure supplies are stocked and assist with inventory management.
Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing duties, including specimen processing and reporting results.
Maintain competency across laboratory sections and participate in ongoing education.
Support departmental goals related to service quality, turnaround time, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
Florida license; ASCP certification preferred.
Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and laboratory information systems.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
