Job description
Location: Bullhead City, AZ, United States (In‑office)
Position: Medical Technologist
Employer: Western Arizona Regional Medical Center
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift schedule: Friday – Monday, 0600 – 1430
Shift type: Option for 48‑hour guarantee and block schedule available
Qualifications:
3‑5+ years of laboratory experience
Certification: ASCP, AMT, HEW, or NCCLS
Preferred experience in a hospital setting
Proficient with laboratory instruments: BC DXH, Sysmex NX 550, Siemens Dimension EXL, Roche Cobas 302 & 403, ACL 2500
Ability to perform testing and rotate across laboratory areas: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis
Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory tests across all assigned areas
Collaborate with clinical teams and maintain accurate test records
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and work in black scrubs
Use MedHost LIS for documentation and reporting
