Job Summary
Performs quality diagnostic laboratory testing on a variety of specimens.
Key Responsibilities
Conducts accurate laboratory tests to support medical diagnostics.
Maintains quality standards and follows established protocols.
Ensures proper handling and processing of specimens.
Adheres to safety and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
Pathway I : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science.
ASCP Certification Eligible.
Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
Pathway II : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
NAACLS Accredited Program.
ASCP Certification Eligible.
Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
Pathway III : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
ASCP Certification Eligible.
Preferred: ASCP Certification, AMT Certification.
Pathway IV : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
U.S. Military Medical Laboratory Training.
Bachelor’s in Biological Science or related field (or foreign equivalent).
ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification.
Experience & Skills
One or more years of laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Urinalysis in an accredited lab preferred.
Strong attention to detail, knowledge of laboratory procedures, and compliance standards.
