Job description
A healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is looking for a Medical Technologist for a full-time day shift position with rotating weekends.
Position Highlights Full-time, day shift with rotating weekends
Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing
Complete STAT testing within established turnaround times
Review and interpret patient results, including delta checks
Perform quality control procedures and address critical or problem specimens
Maintain required records and documentation for patient results
What We re Looking For Associate degree required
Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain the license during the interview process
Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas
Generalist licensure highly preferred
Specialty areas may include Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology
Previous Medical Technologist experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology
At least 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
Generalist background
