About the Role

We're hiring a Medication Management Coordinator to support our growing Psychiatry / Medication Management Program. This is afully remote position for someone organized and caring who likes keeping things moving: prior authorizations, refill requests, patient communication, and the administrative work behind them.

What You'll Do

Prior Authorizations

Complete and manage prior authorizations for medications, treatments, and services, and see each one through to a decision.

Work with insurance companies and prescribers to get timely approvals, and re-authorize before coverage lapses.

Keep patients, pharmacies, and providers updated on approvals and denials, and help with appeals.

Patient Communication

Monitor the medication management inbox, phone line, and patient portal for refill requests and symptom calls.

Check refill requests against the chart, route them to the prescriber, and follow up with patients.

Document symptom calls, route them by urgency, and escalate safety concerns right away.

Clinical Paperwork & Forms

Coordinate the completion of specificforms with providers, clients, and our Medical Records Manager.

Send invoices for prescription refills and paperwork completion.

Confirm releases of information are in place, and upload completed paperwork to our EHR.

Administrative Support

Provide remote administrative support as needed, including scheduling support, EHR data entry, and other administrative tasks for the Medication Management Program and TRTG as a whole.

What You Need

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must live in South Carolina.

Reliable high-speed internet and a private, quiet workspace.

Strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills.

Commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA).

Medical assistant, medical office, or prior authorization experience.

Familiarity with mental health conditions and psychiatric medications

Pay: $16–$18 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with possible Saturday availability.
