Job description

Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) – Full-Time 3-11pmRiverMead is seeking compassionate, detail-oriented Medication Nursing Assistants (MNAs) to join our care team.As an MNA, you will play an essential role in supporting our residents by assisting with medication administration and providing high-quality, person-centered care in collaboration with licensed nursing staff.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct personal care services to residentsAssist in the preparation and administration of medications to stable residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with all state regulations and RiverMead policiesAdminister PRN medications with prior approval from a licensed nurse following resident evaluationSupport and monitor resident self-administration of medications, documenting appropriately and reporting any concerns promptlyMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including charts, reports, and formsCollaborate with nurses, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to support individualized care plansRecognize and respond appropriately to emergenciesShift Differentials2nd Shift: +$2.00/hour3rd Shift: +$2.50/hourWeekend Differential: +$1.50/hour (Friday 5:00 PM – Sunday midnight)QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of two years of experience; long-term care experience preferredSuccessful completion of Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing Assistant training programs that meet federal and state requirementsCurrent New Hampshire licensure as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Nursing AssistantCPR certification requiredStrong communication skills and attention to detailBasic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsDependable, self-directed, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitudeWhy Choose RiverMead?RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service Lifecare Community located in Peterborough, NH.
